Not enough people participated inteh open bar gig so if you did, you'll get $15 back that night and it will be cash bar all evening.

 

You can come and pay cash that night but a heads up will help and anyone who has not "registered" by 10/5 may not get a gift bag...I had to order the items on 9/28 to get them on time and i only ordered 50.

]]> <![CDATA[Registration From Now Available]]> Sun, 09 Aug 2009 03:38:46 GMT With help from Thea Diserio we spoke with the Roger Sherman Inn.  They wanted $100 pp for a 3 hour open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres.  I declined that price and so they came back with $35-40pp for a cash bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres.  Much better; if the martinis are 15$ each, anyone who could drink 4 in 3 hours won't mind paying the $60 difference. Meanwhile the rest of the group can drink or not as they wish.  They've agreed to give us 85% of the porch for the event (they use it for dinner) and a reduced rate on the rooms.  I hope to have a  contract signed soon. 

SO, now we need help; gift bags?, an article in the paper(s)?, donors to help offset costs so maybe we can have the 1st hour be open bar?, someone to coordinate a covert tailgate Friday night (if there isn't a bonfire, what are our options)?  someone to look in to tickets to the game Saturday?.
